LONDON--Adverting giant WPP PLC (WPP.LN) said Tuesday its
wholly-owned operating company, Millward Brown, has bought
InsightExpress, Inc., a provider of media analytics and marketing
accountability solutions in the U.S. for an undisclosed sum.
InsightExpress' unaudited revenues for the period ended Dec. 31,
2013 were $26.4 million with gross assets of $8.8 million as of the
same date. The company has over 200 clients.
Separately, WPP said its wholly-owned operating company GroupM,
has agreed to buy Keyade, a digital search marketing agency in
France, for an undisclosed sum.
The agency specializes in performance-driven online media
purchasing. Its unaudited revenues for the year ended March 31 were
7.0 million Euros ($9.24 million) with gross assets of EUR 8.6
million as at the same date.
Shares at 0750 GMT up 21 pence, or 1.71%, at 1248 pence valuing
the company at 16.44 billion pounds $27.24 billion).
