LONDON--Advertising giant WPP PLC (WPP.LN) said Thursday Kantar,
its wholly-owned data investment management business, has invested
in ZappiStore Ltd., a global pioneer in automated market research,
based in London.
Launched in 2013, ZappiStore offers software applications which
provide automated data collection and analytics through a
self-service platform. The company currently operates in nine
countries with plans to expand into 11 additional markets in the
near future.
WPP didn't say how much Kantar had invested in ZappiStore.
Shares at 0805 GMT down 8 pence, or 0.64%, at 1235 pence valuing
the company at 16.32 billion pounds ($27.87 billion).
