LONDON-- Advertising giant WPP PLC (WPP.LN) Wednesday said its subsidiary JWT has bought a majority stake in The Hardy Boys, a South African creative agency with annual revenue of 55 million rand.

The Hardy Boys, whose clients include consumer goods firm Unilever and drinks group Diageo, had gross assets on February 28 of ZAR32.2 million, said WPP, which didn't say how much it is paying for the stake.
