LONDON--Advertising company WPP PLC (WPP.LN) said Monday that
its operating company, Wunderman, has acquired FusePump Limited, a
company specialising in product data and content for digital
marketing, for an undisclosed sum.
MAIN FACTS:
-Based in London, FusePump extracts product data from e-commerce
websites and other data sources, making it available for
integration into marketing channels and advertising
applications.
-FusePump employs 50 people and clients include Nokia, Sky,
Sony, Tesco, and ASOS.
-FusePump's consolidated unaudited revenue for the year ended
Dec. 31, 2013, were GBP3.0 million, with gross assets of GBP0.9
million as at the same date.
-Shares of WPP at 1102 GMT up 4 pence, or 0.3%, at 1219 pence,
valuing the company at GBP16.23 billion.
