On May 17, 2016, Wilshire Bancorp, Inc. (“Wilshire”) issued a joint press release with BBCN Bancorp, Inc. (“BBCN”) announcing the receipt of all regulatory approvals for closing of the merger of equals between BBCN and Wilshire and the merger between their respective bank subsidiaries. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
