TRMB) announced today that Koskitukki Oy, a major Finnish wood
procurement company, will implement Trimble's LogForce™ forestry
transportation planning software. LogForce is a mobile
Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) that provides logging and
transportation contractors and forest companies with the ability to
efficiently plan and manage transport within the raw materials
supply chain.
LogForce is a key component of Trimble's Connected Forest
solutions, which manage the full raw materials lifecycle of
planning, planting, growing, harvesting and transport.

other forest companies to streamline transport and load management
processes. Standardized software services offer a solid base for
increasing productivity in wood transportation. This benefits both

Koskitukki Oy is Koskisen Group's wood procurement company. The
company procures all the wood raw material for Koskisen Group. The
annual volume of wood procured is 1.4 million cubic meters. In
addition to wood procurement, Koskitukki Oy is responsible for the
Group's forest holdings and management of forest areas for a number
of private owners. Koskitukki also supplies wood material to many
other mills in southern Finland.
With more than 1,000 employees, Koskisen Group's annual revenue is
250 million euros.
