Texas Capital Bank’s Wealth Strategist Named Chair of Prestigious American Bar Association Committee

Texas Capital Bank announced today that Ben Carter, who is a Wealth
Strategist in the bank’s Private Wealth Advisors Group, was
recently appointed as Chair of the American Bar Association’s
Estate and Gift Taxes Committee for the Section of Taxation.
He will serve a two-year term beginning July 1, 2016.

In this role, he will shape the future of wealth
transfer regulation by coordinating and providing expert commentary
to the U.S. Congress and Treasury Department on estate and gift tax
matters. In addition, he will help to facilitate the ongoing
development of his peers by selecting topics and speakers for
American Bar Association Tax Section conferences.

Mr. Carter is a graduate of Washington University
School of Law. He is a Fellow in the American College of
Trust and Estate Counsel, and is Board Certified in Estate Planning
and Probate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
Prior to joining Texas Capital Bank in 2014, Mr.
Carter spent more than 14 years as an attorney in private practice,
representing high-net-worth families and business owners on estate
and business planning matters.
In his current role, he lends his expertise and
guidance in the formulation of wealth strategies for Texas Capital
Bank private clients.
