announced today that it is now the presenter for four-time
Grammy® Award winner and music icon Lionel Richie's 2016 Las Vegas Residency.
Lionel Richie - All The Hits,
promoted by Live Nation and Caesars Entertainment, opens April
27 at The AXIS Theater at Planet Hollywood Resort &
Casino.
To celebrate Richie's residency, SiriusXM will broadcast a
special "Lionel Richie Week" of programming beginning Monday, May 2 and airing through Sunday, May 8. "Lionel Richie Week" will feature
Lionel Richie music played across
multiple SiriusXM channels including SiriusXM Love, The Blend, The
Groove, 70s on 7 and 80s on 8.
Richie will also perform for SiriusXM listeners during a special
edition of SiriusXM's Town Hall series hosted by Dave Grohl. Richie, sitting behind the piano on
the stage at The AXIS Theater, will perform some of his legendary
hits and answer questions from SiriusXM listeners as well as
Grohl.

Richie will air May 6 on
SiriusXM Love, via satellite on channel 17 and through the SiriusXM
app on smartphones and other connected devices, as well as online
at siriusxm.com.
