Item 2.02                   Results of Operations and Financial Condition.

 

On April 27, 2016, Royal Gold, Inc. (the “Company”) reported its third quarter fiscal 2016 results. Copies of the press release and an earnings presentation are furnished as Exhibit 99.1 and Exhibit 99.2, respectively, to this Current Report on Form 8-K.

On April 27, 2016, the Company announced reserve updates as of December 31, 2015 provided by the operators of the Company’s royalty and stream properties, or obtained by the Company from publicly available information. The reserves and other information for the Company’s royalty/metal stream portfolio are furnished as Exhibit 99.4 hereto and are incorporated by reference.
