FRANKFURT -(Dow Jones)- The Supervisory Board of Raiffeisen Bank International AG has appointed Klemens Breuer as a new member of the bank's Management Board, the Austrian bank said Monday. MAIN FACTS: -As of 16 April, Breuer will be responsible for the RBI board division Markets, which includes Investment Banking. -Patrick Butler, who currently holds this position, will at his own request resign his mandate as of 15 April. -Breuer's appointment is subject to the approval of Austria's Financial Markets Authority. -Breuer was a member of the Management Board at WestLB AG from 2008 until mid-January 2012. In this function, Breuer was responsible for Equity Markets, Debt Markets, Research and Treasury. He had held leading positions in the capital markets and treasury operations of WestLB and Deutsche Bank in Düsseldorf, Frankfurt and London prior to joining WestLB's managing board. -Butler was in charge of Treasury, Markets and Research as a Board Member of Raiffeisen Zentralbank Oesterreich AG (RZB) in the years 2004 to 2010.
