will premiere the original documentary Winter on Fire:
Ukraine's Fight for Freedom,
directed by Evgeny Afineevsky, on Friday,
October 9, 2015, exclusively to Netflix members worldwide.
The release informed that the documentary is set to make its world
premiere at the 72nd Venice Film
Festival in September. The release highlighted that the documentary
is about chronicling events, spanned over 93 days in 2013 and 2014,
and covers the formation of a new civil rights movement in
Ukraine, which started as peaceful
student demonstrations but was converted into a full-fledged
violent revolution calling for the resignation of the nation's
President. Netflix informed that the film captures the remarkable
mobilization of nearly a million citizens from across the country
protesting the corrupt political regime that utilized extreme force
against its own people to suppress their demands and freedom of

- Introduction of New Original Series - In another press
release dated August 6, 2015, Netflix
reported that it will introduce a new original series for kids, THE
NEW MR. PEABODY & SHERMAN SHOW,
from DreamWorks Animation. The release mentioned that in this
series, Mr. Peabody, the smartest dog in the world, and his boy
Sherman host a zany late-night comedy show broadcast from their
swanky penthouse in front of a live studio audience. The released
informed that the season 1 of the series will comprise of 13
episodes. Further, the Company stated that the show will be
jam-packed with exciting segments, great musical acts and very
special guests like outrageous neighbors and hilarious time
travelers they meet with the WABAC machine.
- First Brazilian Netflix Original Series - Furthermore,
on August 5, 2015, Netflix announced
that its first Brazilian Netflix original series, "3%", will start
filming in early 2016 and will debut exclusively on Netflix later
in the year. The Company informed that produced by Boutique Filmes,
the first season, will be directed by Oscar nominated Cesar Charlone, starring João Miguel and Bianca Comparato. The Company
highlighted that "3%" is a dramatic thriller that will bring
viewers into a world divided into progress and devastation.
