This represents 4.74 days average daily volume, compared with the previous reporting period’s figure of 3.89.

In summary, short interest in all 3,061 Nasdaq® securities totaled 8,693,729,869 shares at the April 15, 2016 settlement date, compared with 3,054 issues and 8,862,288,474 shares at the end of the previous reporting period. This is 5.08 days average daily volume, compared with an average of 4.8 days for the previous reporting period.
