Dow Jones News
Nasdaq OMX Group Inc. (NDAQ) is considering changes to its cloud
computing service, known as FinQloud, including a restructuring of
its agreement with partner Amazon.com Inc. (AMZN), the Financial
Times reported Sunday on its website, citing people familiar with
the exchange's thinking.
Nasdaq's options include a sale or shutting down of FinQloud,
although a restructured agreement with Amazon is seen most likely,
the FT reported.
In a statement, Nasdaq said the exchange is "looking at growth
opportunities with Amazon Web Services and ways to continue to
leverage our cloud technology offering for the financial services
industry."
