Arrow and Equinix are showcasing the first preconfigured solutions at the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference next week in Toronto. Initially based on Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) hardware and software, these are the first in a series of hybrid cloud deployments utilizing the Equinix Cloud Exchange™ that Arrow will release in 2016.

“Managed hybrid cloud will be the key to channel partners’ success for the future,” said Steve Robinson, vice president of Arrow’s global cloud business. “The Equinix-Arrow hybrid cloud solution coupled with a direct connection to Microsoft Azure via Equinix Cloud Exchange gives our channel partners a robust, easy-to-consume solution that delivers a secure, high-performance hybrid cloud located in multiple markets around the globe.”

The new turnkey solutions include prepacked configurations of HPE hyper-converged systems with HPE Helion CloudSystem and HPE OneView. The server, storage and software preconfiguration is located inside select Equinix International Business Exchange™ (IBX®) U.S. data centers and features direct, private access to leading cloud computing platforms via the Equinix Cloud Exchange™, including Microsoft Azure via ExpressRoute. Equinix is also adding Canadian and European data center locations for the preconfigured solutions over the coming months.

“We are seeing significant growth in enterprise customers looking to re-architect and re-think their existing IT infrastructure to reap the benefits of the cloud, and specifically in a hybrid model. With these prepackaged solutions, we are helping enterprises expedite their transition to the cloud and quickly extend their existing infrastructure into Equinix and into the cloud,” said Greg Adgate, vice president, global technology partners, Equinix.

Resellers and managed service providers can quote, order and provision the new preconfigured hybrid cloud solutions in a matter of minutes through ArrowSphere, Arrow’s online marketplace. Arrow is also offering a series of playbooks for the Equinix and HPE offerings to further accelerate successful deployments for resellers and managed service providers.

Arrow and Equinix will showcase the new solutions and facilitate ArrowSphere onboarding at booth 1410 at the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference in Toronto starting July 10. Interested conference attendees are also invited to take a short shuttle bus ride to the Equinix Toronto data center to tour the facility.
