Company to Offer Range of Content on Xfinity
On Demand From Diverse Asian Ethnic Backgrounds;
Will Launch New Permanent Collection of
Asian Action Films
In recognition of Asian-Pacific American Heritage Month this
May, Comcast is featuring a selection of Asian American content
across Xfinity On Demand platforms, highlighted by a special
collection of Asian action films launching on May 15. Through a
partnership with Well Go Entertainment and Tribeca Films, this new
collection of action films will become a permanent fixture on
Xfinity On Demand and will include renowned films such as: White
Haired Witch, Shaolin, The Man From Nowhere, On The Job, Wrath of
Vajra and The Suspect.
Additionally, Comcast will celebrate Asian-Pacific American
Heritage Month by offering a range of films for customers on
Xfinity On Demand platforms featuring diverse stories from a
variety of Asian ethnic backgrounds, including: films from the
Center for Asian American Media; short films produced by Visual
Communication’s acclaimed emerging filmmaker production program,
“Armed With A Camera;” a collection of popular titles from the EROS
Now network, (including Action Jackson and English Vinglish); and a
host of other award-winning documentaries and classic Asian
American films.

action-packed thrillers to esteemed documentaries,” said Javier

Select programming will be featured on Xfinity’s Asian-Pacific
American Heritage Month website (xfinity.com/asia) and all
programming will be available under the “Multicultural” section of
Xfinity On Demand, under APA Heritage Month. Select content will
also available on mobile devices via the Xfinity TV Go website and
app.
Featured programming includes: Farah Goes Bang, Jeepney, Harana,
This Is My Home Now (short film), What Remains (short film),
Sukiyaki With Love (short film), To Light, Mother and Child,
Basketball My Love, My Name is Asiroh, Comfort Girls, To Sit With
Her, Resignation, Ken Miura: Unheard Of, Year of the Yao, To Be
Takei, Manny, White Light Black Rain, The Namesake, Saving Face,
Circumstance and Better Luck Tomorrow.
