Year once again joins forces with Comcast NBCUniversal for the 14th
Annual Comcast Cares Day, on Saturday, April
25.

NBCUniversal's celebration of their year-round commitment to
volunteerism and has grown into one of the nation's largest
single-day corporate volunteers efforts. Since 2001, City Year
AmeriCorps members have participated in Comcast Cares Day, working
side by side with Comcast NBCUniversal employees, public officials
and other community partners to improve and restore local
communities across the country.

Since Comcast Cares day began in 2001, more than 600,000
participants have contributed 3.7 million hours of service, with
Comcast NBCUniversal providing more than $16
million in grants to local non-profit community partners to
bolster the efforts of Comcast Cares Day volunteers.
This year, more than 90,000 volunteers will participate in
Comcast Cares Day, improving more than 750 project sites in
communities across the country and around the world, including
1,640 City Year AmeriCorps members who are participating in Comcast
Cares Day in 10 cities.
