What exactly happened here of why trading has come to a complete stop for the last couple of weeks?

Yup just as I thought, it's a distraction stock it seems so far

Kinda funny, actually, as I lick my wound. At no point did SPRT deceive, publicly, IMO. I got caught up paying $21 for a for a company worth $2. Who's the idiot here. Good luck GME & AMC'ers. Could comment further but don't care. Again, best to all.

Jake is a robot for something. Was giving opinions / advise after SPRT died. hahaha ! IMO, SPRT was a metaphor of life. At some point when least expected, deceit will punch you in the mouth. I drank the koolaid, thought I was brilliant in my trading. Red flags were flying and I ignored them. Everything reverts to its mean / value. I deserved the smackdown. Oh well, forward ho. Always remember .... "karma", "what goes around, comes around", "do unto others" etc. if it applies to SPRT / GREE. Or maybe it was just my stupidity. ? Best to all ......

I'm not worried about the fractional shares. That was just a reply to another post. But you are correct that the shorts are getting paid big time!

I knew there would be a lot of panic selling this morning too. Eventually it will level out......might be a really long hold.

Those fractions of a share you're missing isn't going to make up for the DEEEEEEEP plunge this is taking. Fair value would have been around $100/sh and it's at $39. Shorts are being showered in cash!

What happened to your fractional shares? I got no compensation. What they couldn’t switch for full shares, is gone.

If I did my math correctly, the share price of GREE would have to open around $100 to be even..11.80 (yesterday's closing price) ÷ .117 (conversion ratio) = 100.85. It's showing around $70-ish at the moment. That's ANOTHER 30% haircut? Ouch!

The FBI and DOJ wouldn't even look. LOL......they don't handle stock mergers. Good or bad all that happened here was that SPRT spiked in price over mergers hype. The merger vote loomed and the Shorts upped their game. SPRT shareholder voted to approve the merger and the Shorts went full tilt along with hype about SPRT being a huge Squeeze play. Flippers and Day Traders came in, took their profits, and left. This was the Perfect Storm! The Bears won the battle. Millions of trader's short stocks. It's part of the game called Free Market.......

.... no doubt, but in the back of my mind, one wonders, what was the actual value of SPRT ??? 3-4 bucks ?? Was the hi interest rate the short paid sufficient to appease w/o covering. Gotta be a &*&^@$#$#E lawyer & read the fine print carefully to follow along. Admittedly, I'm not and I didn't. But I'm still good, I think. Other than that I'm getting a *&^%#^$@& headache. "Typically" the calls will exchange and be adjusted just like the stock. Puts are DOA at the closing bell......

shorts didn't borrow shares from sec. borrowed from brokers. shorts will cover it themselves or brokers will do it for them ...... just imo

97.69% I guess it doesn't matter. Tomorrow it will be GREE and the shorts will never buy back their shares and leave them on the books as undeliverable. SEC will never do anything about it.

It would make sense that this starts to rise at some point today due to short covering. Hopefully it doesn’t happen after it’s been beaten to death
