OEM definition :
Original Equipment Manufacturer. This is someone who manufactures a product and then sells it to another company that will somehow alter the product before reselling it. This is common in goods that require several different components, such as computers. Different OEMs manufacture the individual parts that are then sent to a company who puts them together, creating a final product for the consumer.
