The irony of the Sefton affair, the so called saviours of the company have, in reality, wiped out shareholders.

Jim Ellerton (former CEO) was a rogue but had he remained in place Sefton Resources would, almost certainly, be listed and trading on AIM right now. Shareholders would have had the opportunity to exit or wait for the many share price spikes that occur on this junior market.

It is also worth noting that all of Sefton's oil wells were listed on a Government website on a monthly basis, investors could readily access this website to see how much each well produced, the CEO could not hide those numbers, a material fact that cannot be ignored.

The saviours said the problem was the (fairly modest) Bank of the West debt but Ellerton had rolled this over many times, once he was removed it became a problem. BOW had no experience of dealing with new incumbents, who let's face it were hardly angels themselves, one was a convicted Bank robber !

The destruction of Sefton, leading to eventual wipe out for shareholders, was started by the so called Sheriff of AIM via the Shareprophets website, was pursued aggressively by this sites disciples like a bunch of wolves.

The Sheriff of AIM, California Joe, Brokerman Dan + a few others need to hang their heads in shame.

Got sucked into SER when Jim Ellerton "fixed" things unfortunately!!
All was pretty well lost before BMD et al swabbed the decks here.
Never mind - my remaining 200k shares got me a princely sum of £1.40p.
I won't list the rest of my dog shares over the years, it's too embarrassing.

Anyone else chosen to retain their share certificate?

0.0007 PENCE

Values Sefton at £62,645

That's all very strange as on 22nd July 2017 BMD informed holders that Ellerton owed SER in excess of $200 K USD

On 14th March 2017 the update had these lines;

"2/ Sefton are currently in negotiation’s regarding a small producing oil asset on the African continent. Circa 100bopd. Due diligence is proceeding.

3/ The net cash balance of Sefton Resources has risen to £144,000."

==============================================================================

Where is the independent oversight of this valuation process. Where has the cash gone?

How can anyone judge the fairness or otherwise?

Two years of missing accounts. Shareholders have been largely kept in the dark as to where the money has gone.

Sefton Resources Inc have announced that it has initiated a Share Buy-Back Strategy which includes the compulsory purchase of Shares held in the name of Hargreaves Lansdown Nominees Limited (our pooled Nominee Account in which you hold your Sefton Resources Inc Shares). Shareholders have been offered the amount of 0.0007p per Share, which has been calculated based on the net cash position of the Company.

I emailed the company a few days ago concerning the buy back price - no response to date.
Anyone got any further details? TIA

How can anyone make an informed decision without financial numbers from the company?

Where are the accounts for SER to 31st January 2017, or to 31st January 2018?

pr100 is spot on about the lack of a price.

Who is doing the valuation of the company?

Never in the annals of the City of London has any company announced a share buyback without declaring the price publicly.

Cynic! Be nice to know how much the price of the nominee shares though. Anyone?

Since the buyback price has been omitted, should we assume that some, e.g. Mr Levi, will get a higher price than others, e.g. PIs?
