I spoke to him a couple of days ago and he seemed fine, but definitely run off his feet. Expected a full rto document too. The magnitude of this deal is significant and this is imho the transformational news referred to back in May. Taken a long time coming though.

Really...what was the tone of the mail like? At least he's answering someone..i thought i had been diplomatic (well as diplomatic as i could be given the debacle), maybe he didnt think so...i'll send a follow up mail tomorrow if still no reply. my mail went on for quite a bit and asked quite a lot of specific questions which is hopefully whats holding up a response

I have a response. Chris basically said the deals with Shenyang and CLP are delayed but still should go ahead eventually. If the deal is going ahead they will release a detailed offer and all the logic and supporting strategy will be published for shareholders to see. This will happen within a few weeks.

Darren, I emailed CE yesterday and have had a response. I will remain open minded about the nature and outcome of this potential deal. Hopefully we will hear more in just a few weeks, but nothing is certain. Regards

still no response from mr every from my mail, he has responded fairly quickly any other time i've mailed him...hopefully he's busy getting value for money for us current shareholders...the alternative being not something i want to imagine

I understand that the last rns is a requirement but in due course we should have a more detailed document released with details of the deal (why what etc) and any fundraising issues covered. Its a case of wait and see as Redhill noted above.
