Lloyds Banking Group PLC (LLOY.LN) next week will announce plans to cut about 9,000 jobs over a three-year period as part of a move to automate services, Sky News reported Wednesday, citing people familiar with the matter.
The report said the cuts will be announced when the U.K. lender announces third-quarter results on Tuesday.
In January, Lloyds said it would cut about 1,000 positions.
