480,000 Oz production .. extra $200+ cash per Oz is $96m+ … take out the profit share with the Egyptian mafia. Very tasty . Decent rise in dividend should further help the share price recovery imho.

And comfortably through $2,200
Anyone got a view on CEY EBITDA? At These levels?

POG holding up and even now gone through $2.2k....lovely stuff, surely surely CEY must be making some very material hay here? DYOR

Interest rates are due to fall sometime,it's presidential election year in the US with the horrifying prospect of Biden v Trump again for many Americans, and the US deficit builds by $1tn every 100 days. What's not to like about gold with tailwinds like that?

AISC may be higher. 2023 was $1205, 2024 forecast is $1200-1350

2022 cashflow ($18m)
2023 cashflow $49m, average sales of gold $1,948 per oz

Assuming a similar cashflow, and the PoG averaging $2,148 per oz over 2024 with 470,000 oz (bottom end of guidance), this gives an additional $200 per oz of free cashflow which works out to be $94m implying FCF of $143m. 55% of that is $78.5m.

This suggests to me that CEY is likely to be paying double the dividends this year. Have I made any mistakes with that?

Finally, an upward trendline has emerged. Even if pog pulls back, it.s defo there. Enjoy.

That seems fair, 125p should be possible even if PoG simply consolidates around the current level.

maarket seems to like the results although some doubt shortly after opening. Chart suggests it is targetting about 115 and then maybe 125 in time assuming gold price holds up .

NumptyTrader465 gets it soooo wrong again- things in life you can gaurantee 1)death 2)taxes 3)NumptyTrader465 being wrong.
His lack of basic understanding of market fundamentals is breath taking, and only superseded by his ability to make the wrong call.
But I guess he has to post somewhere while he awaits his £30 FRES prediction...

Bang on their Kenny.
I had a target price 120p {average94p} did sell some the other day to cover a small loss in HUM but with gold heading north again bought them back tad under 108p this morning be happy selling at around 140 plus, Cey should steadily tick up now if gold keeps around this level, cash will be rolling in also a better divi next year.

Tut tut trader465 .. not back to that outdated comment again are we ? $204m self funded CAPEX in 2023 alone , no need to tap into the rolling facility , no reduction in cash and equivalent assets as a result .. cash is not the problem when you are improving the LOM ; undertaking significant exploration and opening a new mine . Costs savings are impressive . AISC under target . Company appears to be hitting all targets . Only a matter of time before this moves up to 150p .

Oh.. and still dividend paying in this transformational few years .

Why are they holding back so much cash?Suspicion would be that they are thinking about a big development or acquistion?Or is this what is potentially needed for EDX and Cote d'Ivoire?

More jam tomorrow set of results as usual.AISC positive.Hope this doesn't end up like an Airtel or PZ cussons elsewhere in Africa, with Egyptian currency and inflation getting out of hand like Nigeria's.Won't be dining out much on the 2 cents divi either.Still as a gold investment play at least there is a dividend.
