Pound Rises After U.K. Retail Sales

(RTTNews) - Following the release of U.K. retail sales for October at 4:30 am ET Thursday, the pound rose against its major rivals.
The pound was trading at 149.02 against the yen, 1.3054 against the franc, 0.8945 against the euro and 1.3167 against the greenback around 4:31 am ET.
