Pound Advances Against Majors

(RTTNews) - The pound drifted higher against the other major currencies ahead of European deals on Monday.
The pound strengthened to 173.01 against the yen, strongest since August 6, while approaching near 3-week high of 1.5264 against the franc.
The pound hit 0.7900 against the euro for the first time since July 24. Against dollar, the pound rose to 1.6620, nearly a 2-week high.
The next possible resistance for the pound is seen around 1.67 against the greenback, 174.00 against the yen, 1.535 against the franc and 0.78 against the euro.
