Japanese Yen Retreats From Early Highs Against Majors

(RTTNews) - The Japanese yen came off from its early highs against its key counterparts in European trading on Wednesday.

The yen fell to 127.50 against the pound and 104.37 against the greenback, from its early high of 126.63 and a 2-day high of 104.02, respectively.

The yen declined to 6-day lows of 105.20 against the Swiss franc and 114.01 against the euro, off its previous highs of 104.62 and 113.27, respectively.

The yen reversed from an early high of 74.48 against the kiwi and a 2-day high of 77.85 against the loonie, easing to 74.75 and 78.12, respectively.

The yen fell back to 80.12 against the aussie, edging closer to pierce its early 3-month low of 80.31. This may be compared to high of 79.38 hit at 8:15 pm ET.

If the yen slides further, it may locate support around 106.00 against the greenback, 116.00 against the euro, 134.5 against the pound, 107.00 against the Swiss franc, 82.00 against the aussie, 80.00 against the loonie and 76.00 against the kiwi.
