Euro Rises Against Majors

(RTTNews) - The European currency strengthened against other major currencies in the European session on Thursday.

The euro recovered its lost ground to 0.8239 against the pound, from an early multi-week low of 0.8215 hit in the early Asian session.

Against the U.S dollar, the euro climbed to a multi-day high of 1.3864, from yesterday's closing quote of 1.3815.

Against the loonie, the euro advanced to a multi-week high of 1.5257, from yesterday's closing quote of 1.5214.

The euro rose to a 6-day high of 1.4822 against the Australian dollar, from yesterday's closing quote of 1.4743. The next possible upside target of the euro lies around 0.95 against the pound, 1.43 against the U.S dollar, 1.65 against the Canadian dollar and 1.54 against the Australian dollar.
