Euro Advances Against Majors

(RTTNews) - The euro strengthened against the other major currencies in the Asian session on Thursday.

The euro rose to an 8-day high of 113.99 against the yen and a 2-day high of 1.0903 against the Swiss franc, from yesterday's closing quotes of 112.93 and 1.0887, respectively.

Against the pound and the U.S. dollar, the euro advanced to 0.8628 and 1.1236 from yesterday's closing quotes of 0.8614 and 1.1217, respectively.

If the euro extends its uptrend, it is likely to find resistance around 115.00 against the yen, 1.10 against the franc, 0.87 against the pound and 1.13 against the greenback.
