Dollar Rises Vs Most Majors After U.S. Weekly Jobless Claims Data

(RTTNews) - The U.S. jobless claims for the week ended October 18 have been released at 8:30 am ET Thursday. The greenback showed mixed trading against the other major currencies after the data. While the greenback changed little against the pound, it rose against the rest of major currencies.
The greenback was valued at 1.2663 against the euro, 1.6027 against the pound, 107.74 against the yen and 0.9529 against the franc around 8:35 am ET.
