Dollar Mixed Ahead Of U.S. Weekly Jobless Claims Data

(RTTNews) - The U.S. jobless claims for the week ended October 18 are due at 8:30 am ET Thursday. The greenback showed mixed trading against the other major currencies before the data. While the greenback rose against the yen, it held steady against the franc and the euro. Against the pound, the greenback eased from an early high.
The greenback was valued at 1.2670 against the euro, 1.6030 against the pound, 107.68 against the yen and 0.9524 against the franc as of 8:25 am ET.
