Dollar Mixed Ahead Of U.S. CPI Data

(RTTNews) - The U.S. CPI for August is due at 8:30 am ET Wednesday. Ahead of the data, the greenback showed mixed trading against the other major currencies. While the greenback held steady against the pound and the euro, it climbed against the franc and the yen.
The greenback was worth 107.30 against the yen, 1.6308 against the pound, 1.2955 against the euro and 0.9340 against the franc as of 8:25 am ET.
