Dollar Mixed Ahead Of Economic Reports

(RTTNews) - The U.S. building permits and housing starts for August and weekly jobless claims for the week ended September 13 are due at 8:30 am ET Thursday. Before these reports, the greenback traded mixed against its major counterparts. While the greenback held steady against the franc and the euro, it rose against the yen. Against the pound, the greenback fell.

The greenback was trading at 1.2872 against the euro, 1.6364 against the pound, 108.82 against the yen and 0.9387 against the franc as of 8:25 am ET.
