Dollar Little Changed Amid U.S. Q2 Current Account Balance Report

(RTTNews) - The U.S. current account deficit declined to $117.4 billion in the second quarter from a revised $133.6 billion deficit in the previous quarter, the Commerce Department said in a report on Tuesday. Economists had expected a current account deficit of $125.5 billion in the quarter.
The US dollar was little changed against its major rivals after the report. As of 8:33 am ET, the greenback was trading at 0.9280 against the Swiss franc, 78.63 against the yen, 1.6248 against the pound and 1.3055 against the euro.
