Canadian Dollar Drops To 10-day Low Against Yen

(RTTNews) - The Canadian dollar slipped below the 77.0 level against the yen in early New York trading on Thursday, falling to a 10-day low of 76.99 around 9:25 am ET. The loonie-yen pair is presently worth 77.0 with 76.80 seen as the next likely support level.

Against the euro, the Canadian currency depreciated by more than 0.6 percent to a 4-day high of 1.2828 around the same time from a 4-week high of 1.2749 hit at the beginning of the European session. The loonie is presently worth 1.2824 versus the euro with 1.2880 seen as the next likely support level.

The Canadian dollar also slipped to a 3-day low of 1.0316 against the greenback by 9:30 am ET. The loonie is presently worth 1.0315 per buck and a move below 1.0320 support could set its lowest mark in more than 2-weeks.
