Australian Dollar Rises Against Majors

(RTTNews) - The Australian dollar strengthened against the other major currencies in the Asian session on Friday.
The Australian dollar rose to 76.82 against the yen, from an early low of 76.54.
Against the U.S. dollar, the euro and the Canadian dollar, the aussie edged up to 0.7468, 1.4860 and 0.9671 from yesterday's closing quotes of 0.7450, 1.4901 and 0.9625, respectively.
If the aussie extends its uptrend, it is likely to find resistance around 82.00 against the yen, 0.77 against the greenback, 1.45 against the euro and 0.99 against the loonie.
