Bullish after earnings surprise .

ALB produced a excellent and surprising set of results yesterday and upbeat guidance. The only disappointment was a decline in revenue from Lithium sales but that was as a result of factors outside the companies control. ALB has already tested this $73 range once before and bounced, hopefully we see the same and a move towards $93 will ensue. The average price target on the stock is $106 but until world trade disputes are resolved this will probably not be reached for some time.

This Specialty Chemical Company Is Now Getting Attractive $ALB

Albemarle Corporation is a global developer, manufacturer and marketer of highly-engineered specialty chemicals. The stock topped out in November 2017 at $144.99 a share. Since that high pivot, the shares have steadily declined and are now trading at $73.81 a share. Traders and investors should note that stock is now trading near its 2016 break-out area. Often, the institutional money will start to defend stocks when they retest prior break-out points. One particular level that I will be watching closely is going to be the $70.00 area. This is where the stock surged in May 2016 with volume. This looks like a solid level for a long side swing trade in the stock.

Well, let's update this chart from 3 months ago...to determine whether or not it's on course :




And although my Green Arrow Up Call was wrong (for about 1 month),
I would say that it IS now on course, wouldn't you ?....
In fact, I don't think it needs to get over your $ 110.....Just over the ruler-line down from the highs !
Why, just getting over $ 105 - would set some wheels in motion !






In fact I'd say that's a fairly healthy chart (now that you mention it).....Thanks for reminding us to take a look!

About time Albermarle $ALB gets some love. Lithium demand is only going to grow from here regardless of the amount of supply that comes online. Not only that but $ALB is locking in sales for future deliveries now and buying back shares at these cheap prices. I don't know what can be more bullish than a company stating their stock is undervalued and buying more of it.
