LONDON (AFX) - BT Group declared its 67 mln stg takeover of broadband
provider Plusnet unconditional after the deal received clearance from the Office
of Fair Trading yesterday.
The incumbent telecoms carrier said Plusnet's listing on the AIM market will
be cancelled some time after 21 February.

LONDON (AFX) - The proposed acquisition by BT Group of Plusnet has been
cleared by the UK's Office of Fair Trading (OFT), the OFT said in a statement.
BT has made a 210 pence per share offer for the broadband provider, valuing
it at 67 mln stg.

PLC had by Dec 29 received shareholder acceptances representing 96.3 pct of the
