Copper

Copper is a reddish-colored metal with high electrical and thermal conductivity. Copper retains this color because it reflects red and orange light and absorbs other frequencies in the visible spectrum.

Although copper is a vital nutrient to all higher plants and animals, in extensive amounts it can be poisonous. This metal can be found in electronics, structural engineering, household products, coinage, biomedical applications and chemical applications.
