SPRINGFIELD, Va., Jan. 6, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Versar, Inc. (NYSE MKT: VSR) announced today that its joint venture with Johnson Controls Federal Systems has been awarded $6.1 million in Design/Build/Repair task orders for the repair of electrical, water transmission, and compressed air systems at Kaena Point Satellite Tracking Station, Hawaii and Laughlin AFB, Texas. These task orders were awarded under the S/R&M Acquisition Task Order Contract (SATOC) IDIQ with the Air Force Civil Engineer Center (AFCEC)., The SATOC IDIQ primarily services AFCEC customers, providing a fast track, efficient method for executing all types of facility repairs, renovations and construction.
