Independent Broker-Dealer Offers 90 Educational Sessions, Provides Individual Consultation Sessions to Record High Attendance

Securities America, a wholly owned subsidiary of Ladenburg Thalmann Financial Services Inc. (NYSE MKT: LTS), hosted special guest George W. Bush, the 43rd President of the United States, at the independent broker-dealer’s 2015 Connect conference in Austin June 6.

Bush shared his experiences and lessons learned during his two consecutive terms as Commander in Chief. Before his presidency, he served for six years as Governor of the State of Texas. Since leaving office, President Bush has returned to Texas, where he has focused his attention on the development of the George W. “We were honored to have such a distinguished guest as President Bush share his experiences with our conference attendees,” said Jim Nagengast, president and CEO of Securities America.

The annual Connect conference offers more than 90 education sessions, many of which confer continuing education credit. Advisors also have access to Securities America home office experts for marketing, practice management, wealth management, advisory growth and technology questions, through one-on-one coaching consultations.
